Mike Heumann is Managing Partner at G2M Communications, a market research firm focused on emerging technologies. He was previously VP North American Sales for QLogic and VP Product Marketing and Alliances for Emulex. He has over 15 years experience in the storage industry with an emphasis on Fibre Channel and storage area networks.

Jean S. Bozman is a seasoned industry analyst with more than 20 years of experience as a consultant and industry analyst focused on the worldwide IT markets for databases, servers, storage and software. She analyzes the technologies and market opportunities for cloud and enterprise data center infrastructure.
By taking a holistic perspective on hardware and software, she analyzes workloads handled by hybrid clouds – linking private clouds with public clouds. She focuses on server technology, storage technology, database software and the emerging market for Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI).
Rakesh Cheerla is currently Product Manager for Storage Solutions at Xilinx, where he focuses on data center design, hardware management, and open storage standards. He was previously Sr Director Products at CNEX Laboratories, a startup developing flash controller chips, where he was in charge of determining customer requirements and defining products to meet them. Before joining CNEX, he worked at SMART Modular Systems, LSI, and Extreme Networks. He has focused on developing product requirements, defining features, and managing engineering teams. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and an MSEE from Arizona State University.
In his 22 years in the storage networking industry, Bryan has held positions in R&D, Marketing, and Sales. After roles at HP and Agilent Technologies, he helped co-found Sierra Logic in 2001 (acquired by Emulex in 2006), leading the Sales and Marketing teams there. Bryan holds 4 patents for his architecture work on the Tachyon family. Bryan has a BSEE degree from the University of California at San Diego.
Sean is a software professional with over 20 years of experience developing and leading complex software development projects. Prior to founding Eideticom, he was Lead Software Engineer at PMC Sierra (Microsemi) where he performed software system and algorithm development of LDPC FEC/ECC for Enterprise-Grade SSD Controllers. Previous to PMC he was a founder and Director of Software at Rad3 Communications. He was also a Senior Staff Engineer at Nextwave Wireless's Cygnus Communications subsidiary where he focused on the WiMax system design for Nextwave's CPE and Basestation products. At SiWorks he performed R&D for the development of various IP cores including a WiMax OFDM modem. He is an expert on algorithm acceleration, implementation of algorithms on multi-core processors and other programmable platforms and software defined radio. Sean is also a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary and has previously taught courses in software and digital system design. Sean is an author of several novel patents on FFT architectures and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Calgary where he specialized in the automatic generation of application specific processors.

Peter Onufryk is Sr Director Product Development at Microsemi, where he is responsible for NVM controller and PCI Express switch product architecture and validation. He has been very active in NVMe standardization as an NVMe Board Member and NVMe Management Workgroup Chair. He has been a featured speaker at many events on NVMe and NVMe-MI, including Flash Memory Summit. He holds over 40 patents in interfaces and communications and has written several published articles. He was previously Director of Engineering at Integrated Device Technology (IDT) and a research staff member at AT&T Bell Labs. He earned a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from Rutgers University and an MSEE from Purdue University.

Allen has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. Scott has spent over 20 years in the Semiconductor and storage space in MFG, Design and Marketing. His experience spans over 15 years at Micron and time at STEC. His efforts have help lead to products in the market with over $300M in revenue.

Sr Engineer Datacenter Technologies
David Woolf is the Senior Engineer, Datacenter Technologies at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). He has developed dozens of industry-reviewed test procedures and implementations as part of the team that has grown the UNH-IOL into a world-class center for interoperability and conformance testing. David has also helped to organize numerous industry interoperability test events at both at the UNH-IOL facility and off-site locations.
David has been an active participant in a number industry forums and committee’s addressing conformance and interoperability, including the SAS Plugfest Committee, SATA-IO Logo Workgroup, co-chair of the MIPI Alliance Testing Workgroup, and coordinating the NVMe Integrators List and plugfests.
